Here is Cult Leader Peter Schiff at his inane (and insane) best on CNBC Fast Money. Firstly, the delusional wingnut says his mission is to go to Washington and educate the President, the entire Senate and Congress on economics. Sorry Peter, but I think even the doorman (and his doormat) at the White House are probably more educated than you are. All you have is a BBA from Berkeley (which implies many secretaries at Goldman Sachs are as educated as you are) so I wouldn't really harp about educating people. Then, host Melissa Lee has to ask 3x "what" Peter would do if he is elected to the Senate. Of course, the reason she has to ask 3x is because he has absolutely nothing of substance to say, except this sort of kookery: - Raise interest rates dramatically - Reduce credit dramatically - Ask everyone in the world to dump their US dollars and treasuries So basically, according to Peter Schiff, we should liquidate everything and grind the world to a halt. Great idea. Not.
