Cowboy Boom speaks out on how US politicians and the Federal Reserve are too stupid to prevent or even see the coming crash in the US Stock and bond markets. We are headed for a worldwide depression because the US and Europe and Japan all have too much debt they can never repay. Throw in the fact that the US and other countries in Europe are running near all time high annual deficits and it's just a matter of time. Greece is trying to negotiate down how much they owe in debt, there is talk that greek bond holders will only get 30 to 50 cents on the dollar. This is going to happen in every country that has too much debt including the United States. When it happens there will be almost no safe place to have your money other than in cash. Peoples 401K's will be decimated because they don't typically provide a cash option. Even money market mutual funds that you wouldn't usually lose money in will get decimated because they are heavily invested in US bonds. So when the US announces that everyone holding US bonds is going to take a 50% haircut on their bonds, then money market mutual funds will break the buck and people will likely lose half their money. The stock and bond markets are destined for failure because our politicians and the federal reserve are to spineless to make the tough decisions now, and they are too stupid to see what's coming.
